One mile from the Tennessee/Kentucky state line, approximately 50 miles north of Nashville. Moo2U delivers herdshares to the greater Nashville area and Clarksville. The majority of the herd's diet is grass-based from pasture, dry hay, and grass silage. The diet is supplemented with non-GMO feed mixed locally to support the vitamin and mineral requirements of the herd. The feed program focuses on health of the cows, not higher production. Cows are milked once a day. Antibiotics are only used for health purposes and a licensed veterinarian oversees the use. No growth hormones ever used. Bulls are A2 certified. Milk can be certified for concerned herdshare members. Herdshare agreement is $50/year. Milk is $8/gallon delivered to a drop point. $7 on the farm.
