A raw milk micro-dairy & creamery in Fayette county that has pastured cows, lambs, goats, and chickens. Providing raw milk and dairy products, eggs, & halal meat. Slak Market Farm uses organic practice, and halal management to humanely raise animals. (Halal is the Islamic belief that animals have rights concerning their care and welfare at every step and stage of their lives.) It is the management's intention to provide the farm herd with this quality of life, as well as provide a healthier product to the herdshare owners. The animals are raised on grass pasture and fed hay in the barn during winter months. Cows are fed fodder grown from Certified Organic grass grains at milking time along with any necessary organic supplements & minerals. They love to welcome new herdshare owners.
