About Southspoon Farms
They are milking cows and goats. The cows are pasture-based with supplemental grain at milking time. The goats are allowed for browsing along with alfalfa hay and supplemental grain at milking time. They offer raw goat milk at $7/half gallon, and raw cow milk at $10/gallon. Other products are free-range eggs, cream, yogurt, farm-raised pork and pastured-based beef. They are 80 miles east of Dallas, just 10 miles south of Sulphur Springs. The hours are Thursday 10 am-5 pm, Friday 10 am-5 pm and Saturday 9 am- 1 pm.
