About Straight Up Outside LLC
Nick and Annie Schmitz maintain a herd of Jersey-cross cows that are genetically tested A2/A2 protein producers. The cows are machine milked into bucket milkers in a parlor. Milk is then filtered before being chilled in a bulk tank. Milk is never sold more than three days old. Cows are 100 percent forage-fed and DO NOT receive grain. Feed rations consist of pasture grass, grass hay, alfalfa, and/or haylage depending on the season. Cows have access to free choice minerals.
