Raw milk from Jersey cows. Farmer statement: "The Farm at Thorne Gut is a raw milk micro dairy licensed in the state of Maryland. All raw milk legally sold in Maryland is labeled as pet milk. We maintain a small herd of grass and alfalfa fed Jersey cows. Our cows also receive black oil sunflower seeds and whole oats. No corn or soy. We machine milk and have a four stage, dairy approved, cleaning and sanitation process. Calves are raised by their moms and we practice calf sharing as the calves grow. This reduces our milk output but makes for happier and healthier cows and calves. Our milk is full fat with the cream on top.. We also breed ADGA Plus Nigerian Dwarf Dairy goats We believe in providing a quality product to our local community. Raw, Real, Local."
